What SPECTUS is all about
Spectus TK60 European comfort is unthinkable in our homes without modern windows made of the English PVC profile Spectus TK60. They help retain heat and provide sound insulation, ensure sufficient daylight and give a room a modern, elegant look. PVC windows that meet most consumer requirements look especially stylish. As is well known, window units today are made of wood, aluminum and PVC. Wood is the most environmentally friendly material, but it needs considerably more care than aluminum or PVC. Aluminum windows are very strong, but highly heat-conductive and comparatively expensive. PVC windows made of the English Spectus TK60 profile are largely universal: they are quite eco-friendly, need minimal care, are fairly strong with good thermal insulation, and resist corrosion and weathering. They are much cheaper than aluminum and even wooden ones, if we mean modern windows of laminated timber of various species. Abroad, eco-friendly PVC windows have been known for more than 45 years; they were first made in 1954. Polymer materials then came into wide use in window production because their main advantage over windows of other materials is manufacturability. Today every second window in the world is PVC. Modern high-strength polyvinyl chloride (PVC) does not warp in the sun and is not afraid of frost, moisture or acid rain. Modern technology completely rules out the release of toxic substances by the plastics. In addition, PVC window units do not support combustion. As already noted, polyvinyl chloride has good thermal insulation properties, and in windows made of the English Spectus TK60 profile they are far higher thanks to the profile's special cross-section: the frames and sashes have air chambers around the whole perimeter, and air, as is known, is a good thermal insulator. Dozens of multi-chamber frame profile systems have now been developed. The most common are three- and four-chamber, with an outer wall thickness of about 3 mm. Besides its air chambers, the multi-chamber Spectus TK60 PVC profile has additional stiffening ribs and is reinforced with galvanized steel. Siliconized copolymer with synthetic rubber and polyurethane are used as gaskets for the tight fit of sash to frame. Thanks to its air chambers, the Spectus TK60 profile is light. It provides drainage of rainwater through special channels, which also serve to equalize vapor pressure differences. The Spectus TK60 profile can be given any shape: square, rectangle, triangle, arch or even circle. White is the most common color for PVC windows, but there are other options. The Spectus TK60 profile system allows frames to be finished with a special foil imitating valuable wood species, including single- or...
