Terms of Service

Effective date: January 6, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms; Who We Are

Welcome to glassbase.com. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and GlassBase Inc., a Florida corporation, with its registered address at 2530 N Powerline Rd Ste 401, Pompano Beach, FL 33069 (“GlassBase,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

These Terms govern your access to and use of glassbase.com and its features, including our window-performance simulator (the “Simulator”), contact and lead forms, user accounts, and related content and services (collectively, the “Service”).

Acceptance. By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or otherwise indicating your acceptance, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

Scope. These Terms cover glassbase.com only. Products offered on separate subdomains (for example, dpp.glassbase.com) are governed by their own separate terms; these Terms do not apply to them.

Business use. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that organization.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for professional and general audiences and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account or otherwise use the Service. Consistent with our Privacy Policy, we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16; if you are under 16, do not use the Service. If we learn that a person under the applicable age has provided us information, we will delete it.

3. Accounts and Registration

To use certain features, you may need to create an account.

  • Accurate information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering and to keep it up to date.
  • Security. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at info@glassbase.com if you suspect any unauthorized use.
  • One account. You may not maintain more than one account for yourself, share your account, or create an account using another person’s identity or credentials.
  • Our rights. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or engaged in fraud, abuse, or unlawful conduct. Where practical and lawful, we will give notice.

4. The Simulator and Informational-Use Disclaimer

The Simulator lets you enter window, glazing, profile, and hardware configurations and returns computed or estimated performance characteristics.

The Simulator’s outputs are estimates provided for general informational purposes only. They are not engineering advice, certified performance ratings, purchasing recommendations, or a determination of compliance with any code, standard, or regulation. Simulator outputs are model-based approximations and may differ from real-world or laboratory-measured performance for many reasons, including product variation, installation, environmental conditions, and the assumptions and limitations of the underlying models.

No reliance. You should not rely on Simulator outputs as the sole basis for any purchasing, design, engineering, safety, or compliance decision. Before acting, independently verify results with the relevant product manufacturers, the applicable certification bodies and rating systems (for example, NFRC ratings), and qualified engineering or other professionals. You are solely responsible for how you use the outputs.

The technical inputs you enter into the Simulator are non-personal configuration data; how any data associated with your account is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:

  • scrape, harvest, or extract data or content from the Service using bots, crawlers, or other automated means, or systematically download or index any part of the Service, except as expressly permitted by us in writing;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, structure, models, or algorithms of the Service or the Simulator, except to the limited extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
  • copy, reproduce, republish, or create derivative works from the database, data compilation, content, design, or software of the Service, or use them to build a competing product or service;
  • circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, authentication, access controls, or usage limits, or probe or test the vulnerability of any system or network;
  • introduce malware or harmful code, or take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure;
  • submit or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, false, misleading, or fraudulent, or that violates the rights of others;
  • misuse our forms or email features — including sending spam, chain messages, or bulk or automated solicitations, or submitting false or third-party contact information; or
  • use the Service to violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party.

We may investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including removing content, and suspending or terminating access, as described in Sections 3 and 14.

6. User Content and Submissions

The Service may let you submit information, saved configurations, messages, and other materials (“User Content”).

  • Ownership. You retain any ownership rights you have in your User Content. These Terms do not transfer ownership of your User Content to us.
  • License to us. You grant GlassBase a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your User Content solely to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Service and as otherwise permitted by our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete your User Content or account, except for content already shared with others, retained in backups for a limited period, or that we must keep by law.
  • Your responsibility and warranty. You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit it and to grant the license above, and that your User Content does not violate these Terms or any law or third-party right.
  • Removal. We may remove or disable User Content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law, or that creates risk or legal exposure.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service — including the platform, the Simulator, all software, source code, models, algorithms, design, user interface, text, graphics, and the database and its selection, arrangement, and compilation — is owned by GlassBase or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property and other laws.

Your license. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes. This is a license to use the Service, not a sale or transfer of any rights in it. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Trademarks. “GlassBase,” the GlassBase logo, and related names and marks are trademarks of GlassBase. Third-party names, logos, product designations, and marks that may appear on the Service (for example, manufacturer or certification names) are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only; their appearance does not imply any endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship.

8. Third-Party Content, Links, and Product Information

The Service may display product information, specifications, and references to third-party manufacturers, products, standards, or organizations, and may contain links to third-party websites. This information is provided for general informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, currency, availability, or pricing of any third-party product information, and it may change without notice. We are not responsible for third-party websites or their content, products, or practices, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GlassBase disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement.

Without limiting the above, GlassBase does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that the Simulator’s outputs will be accurate, reliable, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. As described in Section 4, Simulator outputs are informational estimates only.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • GlassBase and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages; and
  • GlassBase’s total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed USD 100.

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including, where applicable, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or willful misconduct, and any mandatory consumer-protection rights.

11. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GlassBase and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your User Content; (c) your misuse of the Service; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party. We may assume the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with us.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal information and describes your privacy rights. Please review it. Data handling is addressed there and is not restated in these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice before they take effect (for example, by email to account holders or a prominent notice on the Service). Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, as described in Section 3 — including for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service, other users, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including Sections 6 (license granted to us, to the stated extent), 7, 9, 10, 11, 15, and 16.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the parties submit to the state and federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.

Consumers. If you use the Service as a consumer, nothing in this Section deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you reside, and you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence where mandatory law so provides.

These Terms do not require binding arbitration.

16. Miscellaneous

  • Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the invalid provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted or replaced by an enforceable provision that most closely reflects its intent.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms expressly incorporated, are the entire agreement between you and GlassBase regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements on that subject.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it or of any other provision.
  • Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
  • No agency. These Terms do not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and GlassBase.
