Gretsch-Unitas (GU) is a German, family-owned manufacturer of hardware and technology for windows, doors, automatic entrances, and building access/security systems. Founded in 1907, the group now operates more than 50 production and sales companies in over 35 countries with around 3,700–4,300 employees.

Its brands — Gretsch-Unitas Baubeschläge, BKS, GU Automatic, and FERCO — design and produce window and door fittings, multi-point locking systems, sliding-door hardware, automatic entrance systems, and electronic access-control/security solutions used in residential buildings, offices, schools, airports, and landmark projects worldwide (including several U.S. buildings such as "The Smile" in East Harlem, the Perelman Performing Arts Center, and Lantern House in New York). GU emphasizes long-term reliability, safety compliance, and full-service support — from consulting and planning to maintenance — for architects, builders, and property owners.
