HKS® 80 S/E, the company's new product, is intended for sashes up to 80 kg. What makes this mechanism remarkable is that when the assembled sash is closed there are no visible elements at the top: the guide rail and the stay are hidden in the Euro-groove and the rebate — you would think you were looking at an ordinary tilt-and-turn window. Thanks to this, and to the new running gear, HKS® 80 S/E hardware can be fitted to narrow profile systems too, and only 35 mm of free space is needed at the bottom of the frame. With this hardware practically any window can be made not tilt-and-turn — which surprises nobody today — but tilt-and-slide. HKS® 80 S/E hardware is ideal for balcony glazing, conservatories, cross-ventilation, or windows in offices and other workplaces where a computer monitor usually gets in the way of the opening sash.

HKS® 130 S/E with catches and HKS® 150 Z/E with a forced-control stay also need only 35 mm of free space at the bottom of the frame. The sliding mechanism is very slim, so all the mechanics are hidden under a comparatively thin, elegantly made cover strip.

HKS® 150 Z/E additionally has a forced-control stay that pushes the sash out of the frame into the tilt position by itself when the handle is turned. When the sash is closed, the stay also pulls it back into the frame automatically. Very comfortable hardware.

HKS® 180 Z/E has new roller bogies with special rollers and reinforcing pins that allow this hardware to be fitted to sashes up to 180 kg. The thickness of the cover strip does not increase. The only difference is that 45 mm of free space is needed at the bottom of the frame.

HAUTAU makes its bearings and running rollers from especially high-quality materials. We are the only manufacturer to fit the unit with protective brushes for cleaning the running rail.

The lift-and-slide gear lifts and slides sashes up to 300 kg. Permissible sash height is 1,200 to 2,700 mm, sash width 720 to 3,235 mm and outer frame width up to 6,500 mm.
The system suits all common lift-and-slide windows of wood, PVC and light metal.

The thermal break of the aluminum profile threshold gives an excellent isothermal characteristic. Heat exchange and cold penetration are reduced to a minimum.

The system is designed for very fast installation: extendable running rails, convenient frame corner joints, pre-prepared thresholds and the simplest installation of bogies and gear speak for themselves.

Along with the new design, a third locking element is built into the stay of the fanlight opener, which presses the sash more tightly against the frame.

The new ergonomic handle design guarantees reliable, convenient operation.
Thanks to the optimization of all elements, the sash opening width increases by 190 mm while the force needed to open decreases.

The special profile of the guides prevents dirt build-up, keeps operation smooth for a long time and extends service life.
Extending the handle travel to 58 mm made it possible to fit a third locking element in the stay, which improves retention, and to drive an additional locking mechanism fitted in the hardware groove, used for sash heights from 800 mm, which improves the seal and keeps out rain and wind. It also makes unwanted opening of the window from outside much harder. Electromagnetic closure monitoring can be built in on request.

The range includes PRIMAT-FL 190 for wooden, PVC and metal windows. Colors: EV 1 (aluminum), white and black.
For windows with two tilt sashes side by side or one above the other, HAUTAU offers a special chain drive that operates both sashes at once.

For round-topped and arched windows a flexible drive is available that can go around various obstacles, such as window sills.
The visually attractive spindle drive allows stepped adjustment of the opening width. Even in a strong gust of wind the sash holds its position. Thanks to a slipping clutch in the spindle mechanisms, the hardware is not damaged if unreasonably high force is applied when closing or opening the window.
For more convenient automatic opening of fanlights, a new mechanism with a built-in 24 V or 220 V electric drive has been developed.
The unit comes fully assembled and takes a few minutes to install on site. A version with two stays is available for large sashes.

It so happens that hardware for horizontal pivot windows has remained little known in Ukraine. A pity. This type of sash opening has a number of advantages that put horizontal pivot windows among the ideal windows.

We need windows to light rooms by day and to let fresh air in from outside. Depending on the type of pivot and the profile system (to calculate sash weight), this hardware allows windows up to 2.75 m wide and 2.20 m high — roughly 5 m² of clear glass.

Horizontal pivot windows are ideal for ventilating rooms. Air circulation here uses thermal processes: the used warm air rises and leaves through the upper opening of the window, while fresh, cool air is drawn in below to replace it. The sash itself acts as a divider between these two air flows. According to specialists' calculations, the ventilation efficiency of a horizontal pivot window is 2.8 times that of a tilt-and-turn window of the same area.

Further undoubted pluses are
that you need not clear flowers or other items off the window sill to ventilate the room, since the lower part of the sash opens outward, and that such a window is very easy to wash — you just turn the sash round to face you, i.e. rotate it 180° — though then the flowers do have to be moved.

TORNADO hardware is also interesting because it can be fitted to windows of various shapes: round, square, oval, pivoting arches... The main condition is symmetry about the pivot axis.
